- We are so excited to begin to emerge from lockdown with outdoor opening from Wednesday 14th April. We’re now open from 10am from Wednesday to Sunday so why not come in the morning for coffee/tea and pastries or try our new brunch menu.
James has been busy planning new spring menus for the reopening. As always the menu changes regularly according to the best produce available from our suppliers. Over the next couple of months you’ll find lots of grilled fish, rare bread meat and of course our popular grilled Cornish Native Lobster will be back on the menu when the season starts. Our latest menus are available to view here:
Just to whet your appetite here are some of the dishes we’ll be serving from April:
- Cornish crab tacos, guacamole, mango salsa, sour cream & sriracha chilli sauce
- Josper grilled Swaledale lamb rump, middle eastern dips & flatbread
- Tagliatelle, prawns, chilli, garlic & parsley
- Lemon tart & raspberries
If you are looking forward to eating out again, we have an amazing new gazebo on our terrace which is fully weatherproof, heated and lit so you can dine in comfort whatever the weather. We tested it with our family for Sunday lunch this weekend – it was perfect – even with the snow & hail! There are a few other tables on the terrace which are not under cover and are available to diners on a first come first served basis. Tables under the gazebo are close to being fully booked for the next month so call soon to book your table.

Our large garden has plenty of tables that will be allocated for drinkers – we are not taking bookings for these tables, so it’s first come first served – we’re praying for good weather!
While you’re here, call into the Fox Shop for fresh bread and pastries, home-made treats like sausage rolls and sweet and savoury tarts, fresh meat and eggs, salami and charcuterie, olives, local ice cream and other treats.
